Over the coming decade, according to the most recent forecast prepared by the Rutgers Economic Advisory Service, the state should experience only moderate employment growth and modest increases in the Gross State Product. Of course, several variables could alter the state’s economic trajectory, in particular policy developments at both the federal and state levels.
